🍎 PERSONALITY ATTITUDE: Whimsical, creative, empathetic, supportive, stubborn, charismatic, anxious
QUIRKS: Tends to be of lofty dreams, loves being a showman, tends to over-think some things, but generally pushes himself past anxious thoughts. Stable sense of self-worth, but still ruminates on failures and shortcomings.
LIKES: Creativity, exploration, invention, justice, breaking out into song
DISLIKES: Most of the sinners, a lot of the things he's seen come of the free will he gifted, kill-joys, rigidity.

BLURB: It was with love in his heart he gave humans the privilege of choice. He wanted to share the beauty and wonder of creation, but this was against the angels' plans. Still, he believed that if only he could show them, they would understand! For being the catalyst to disaster, he was damned to suffer the souls of the wicked. Millennia have worn him down, but thanks to Charlie, he now dares to hope, and still holds tight to that jubilant spark of wonder that once drove him.

🍎 HEADCANON
SERAPHIC CONTRACT: For rebellion against Heavenly Sanctions, his choices were banishment or death. As Lilith raised the voices of the Sinners and the exterminations began, neither Lucifer nor the other angels that fell with him were allowed to intervene, or the mercy of banishment--and by extension, their lives and all of hell--were forfeit. Disclosure of Angelic information or direct intervention against Heaven are not allowed without the invocation of specific clauses(ex:Lilith or Charlie's lives are in danger).
SEPARATION: Lucifer was + is a loving father and husband, but he had a tendency to grow distant with Lilith and Charlie, and generally isolate himself moreso when his depressive downswings were particularly bad. Lilith was more involved with Charlie when she was younger, similarly to how Lilith was moreso the thriving leader of Hell than Lucifer was, so when Lilith became more independent and eventually left their home, Charlie spent time with Lucifer intermittently. Lucifer was absolutely devastated, but generally kept his chin up in front of Charlie whenever they spent time together. Lucifer cannot disclose why Lilith left.
SEVEN DEADLY SINS: The deadly sins of Hell were once angels as well, but of varying stations. Lucifer is closer to some than others(Asmodeus, Beelzebub), and may even grieve what has become of the individuals he now avoids(Mammon, Paimon to a lesser degree).
ARS GOETIA: Other Goetic demons introduced in Helluva boss that are not among the seven deadly sins(Stolas, Andrealphus, Octavia, Stella, etc.) are not as familiar to Lucifer, and he tends to avoid a vast majority of them given the class divisions Paimon has tried to enforce, and the resulting social standards among the Ars Goetia. However, he would be quite fond of the more empathetic and gentler individuals(Stolas, Octavia).
HELL-BORN: While Lucifer grieves and regrets what his gift of free will beget(as he was only allowed to witness the wicked), he isn't as averse to hell-born. He doesn't tend to mingle, but this is due also to overlapping grief and shame. Those of more empathetic dispositions with aversions to death will get along best with Lucifer. Lucifer will tolerate(to varying degrees) murderous and unrepentant individuals, but otherwise, he doesn't go out of his way to mingle with them.
